Starting with Windows Vista and Windows 7 the standard installation folder for programs 'C:\Programs\...' is protected and 'repairs' changes after each reboot. Therefore the default location for the installation of Datagraph-med is set to the root directory of your hard drive 'C:\Datagraph-med 5.10. You may change the installation folder, but please note, that every user must have full read/write permissions to both folders, the front end and the folder containing your data file.

Datagraph-med requires MS Access to be installed on your PC. MS Access is part of 'MS Office Professional', but not 'MS Office Standard' or 'MS Office Home and Student' for example. In this case you must install Datagraph-med together with the Runtime version of MS Access. The Runtime version must fit to your local MS Office version. German and English Runtime versions for Office 2010 and 20130 are part of the installation media. More local language versions can be found on the Microsoft website. For best functionality we recommend the MS Office 2010 Professional version.

Datagraph-med uses an regression analysis function of MS Excel and some other functions which will not be available, if you do not have MS Excel installed on your PC. So we recommend to have MS Excel installed.

Datagraph-med is complied using Microsoft Visual Basic components - these components may differ depending on the service pack version of your Office Suite. For this reason we recommend to use Microsoft Update and make sure the latest service release is installed before the installation of Datagraph-med.
